What do you see when you enter code 02?

You are supposed to change the number to a 0 via the +/- keys.

I'm not convinced Launch or any other aftermarket scanner can reset SRI on newer VW/Audi's that are on the UDS protocol.

Autologic and Ross-Tech are the only two I know that will actually reset them.

If I'm wrong, please correct me.

Hi Eric,

I hear those new UDS protocol cars are tricky. I have yet to see one here.  Have you seen/tried this at all:

Definitely much more complex than normal, but are you able to access those measuring blocks and enter those new adaption numbers?

Eager to see what you find.

Mr. G

just to confirm guys the UDS is the easiest lights to reset yet for the ESI RESETTING this is a itemised menu and NO adaption channel numbers are required

but the a3 on the service light reset set has BOTH inspection and service resets the trick is to learn the adaption chanels as they tell you what you what is needed to reset
for example

Adaptions 040 = Mileage since serviced in Km ? (the KM will be shown for e.g 280 yes - which is 28,000 KM) 1 x 100km
well you have just serviced the car yes so the correct value should be 0 (zero)

hope this gives you some ideas

Great info John, do you have anymore info regarding this system?

So you are saying we dont need adaption numbers, is there a menu in the launch that shows the itemized options?

Thanks!

Mr. G
