I have x431 master and when I am try to scan Vehicle with it, at the final stage it give the following error message:
Please make sure. 1. If vehicle is equipped with the system 2. If it is controlled by computer 3. If the diagnostic connector is correctly connected 4. If the ignition key is turned on
" I am using OBDi 16 Pin connector, vehicle is Honda Civic 2004 model, ignition key is on. connector is properly connected" Please guide me?
yes, it got the connection with car nd provide its engine info, but when i try to test, i.e. immobilizer or ecu camera or etc. it always give this error message for each nd every test.
Dear Mr.G, installed honda version is 42, but now when i checked other vehicles it have given the same error with slight change in wording, i.e Toyota 2008, mitsubishi , suzuki etc in fact i checked version of for each one at testing time, they all are valid for the concern but not working properly. in fact it is X431 GX3, is it not working as well as X431 master? Moreover this error meessage come while using OBD ii 16 pin connector.
According to your profile, you are in Pakistan and the GX3 should be the correct unit for you. If you are in the U.S. you need to have a Master as the GX3 may or may not work with some cars that have a U.S. destination.
Did you try any other options besides 'other area'. If so, you should re-download all software including the display program. Make sure you format your card before using the Launch update software. If your tool isn't working on anything its either a bad software download/update, a faulty unit that needs to be replaced or a clone.
I am from Pakistan, and at some old models it is good at working but gave error at most models while selecting correct area. Moreover, the dealer is not shipped confidential paper with it that have serial no & password, that is need for registration purpose, I asked several times for it via email but they gave response of my early few emails but now they are quite and their phone no are also invalid that system tell me when i tried. Infact I am very scary that they have been betray me.plzz guide me.
Dear Eric, As I stated that they have not provided registration information to me, so it also disqualify me to update my software. I have only serial number that I got from printer paper and not anything else. So kindly help me in this regard too. In fact I am new one and here in Pakistan, is not such trend of such auto diagnoses scanner, here mostly work is done manually. So may be this is one reason that I have not reached to authentic dealer.
You need to find out what Branch your tool came from. Information regarding registration and your account has to go through the branch of origin. That website is non-authorized to distribute LAUNCH products. What is your serial number?

smartbox serial no is 980641502000. I don't know how can do this, means branch info. As I was only in communication with them and now they are not reply to my emails. I am in great tension. Kindly suggest me how can I cope out with it?
